Discovery tour of the treasures of the University library.

Established in 1875, the Universite catholique de l'Ouest (UCO) has benefited from the generous donations of passionate bibliophiles since its inception. Today, its collection comprises several tens of thousands of meticulously preserved books stored in its basement. Among these treasures, numerous ancient books and incunabula hold immense cultural and historical value.

We are pleased to invite you to an exceptional tour of the library's archives, exclusively reserved for a small group of UCO alumni. On this special occasion, you will be warmly welcomed by Guillaume Le Vern, the curator in charge of these precious treasures, who will guide you through the highlights of UCO!

These documents are not accessible to the general public, and very few UCO students have had the chance to explore these pieces!

This free visit for alumni (€5 for external visitors), lasting 45 minutes, has been specially designed to provide you with an enriching cultural experience during your lunch break.

Please meet at 1:00 PM at the reception of the Main University Library, located in the UCO's Palais Universitaire.
