Dominique Morandeau is IND-E's director.TheInstitut Notre-Dame d'Espérance (IND-E) is an autonomous institute, associated with the Université catholique de l'Ouest for the implementation of the MEEF master's program for the training of future school teachers for Catholic establishments in the dioceses of Maine et Loire, Mayenne, Grenoble and Paris. It is also a continuing education organization, mainly for primary school teachers.

Éric Mutabazi is senior lecturer and vice-dean of the Faculty of Education at the Université Catholique de l'Ouest (UCO), where he heads a research program on education and training.

He works in particular on issues of citizenship and interculturality. He is also a research associate at LISEC UR 2310, Université de Haute Alsace, and an international collaborator at GREE, Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM).
