Breakfast: Teaching in Early Childhood Education

Join us for a friendly round-table discussion over coffee and croissants, focused on the collective work Teaching in Early Childhood Education (Retz Publishing, June 2024), edited by Eric Mutabazi and Dominique Morandeau. This event will take place at the University Library, on the ground floor of the Faculty of Education building, IND-E and IFUCOME.

Dominique Morandeau and Eric Mutabazi will present the book and engage with you on the major issues of teaching in early childhood education.

All UCO and IND-E alumni are invited and may bring an external guest. However, spaces are limited, so please register quickly!

Dominique Morandeau is IND-E's director.TheInstitut Notre-Dame d'Espérance (IND-E) is an autonomous institute, associated with the Université catholique de l'Ouest for the implementation of the MEEF master's program for the training of future school teachers for Catholic establishments in the dioceses of Maine et Loire, Mayenne, Grenoble and Paris. The IND-E is an autonomous institute, associated with the Université Catholique de l'Ouest for the implementation of the MEEF master's program for the training of future schoolteachers for Catholic establishments in the dioceses of Maine et Loire, Mayenne and Sarthe. It is also a continuing education organization, mainly for primary school teachers.

Eric Mutabazi
Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Education
Université catholique de l'Ouest

Éric Mutabazi is senior lecturer and vice-dean of the Faculty of Education at the Université Catholique de l'Ouest (UCO), where he heads a research program on education and training.

He works in particular on issues of citizenship and interculturality. He is also a research associate at LISEC UR 2310, Université de Haute Alsace, and an international collaborator at GREE, Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM).
