Breakfast with Emy Bill, illustrator and teacher

Emy Bill is a former student of the Université Catholique de l’Ouest, and of the Institute Notre Dame d'Espérance (IND-E), she is now a teacher and… a cartoonist! 

She illustrates her daily life through fascinating comic strips, and she has published three volumes of Ma vie d'instit (City Edition), as well as - this year - Journal d'instit, secrets en salle des maîtres (Editions Michel Lafon). 

These humorous comics (intended for adults) sure give us a deeper insight into the job that she loves deeply!

Dominique Morandeau - the director of IND-E (institute housed within the Faculty of Education of the UCO) and Gwenola Rato (director of IFUCOME and of the Angevin component of the Faculty of Education) will be the hosts of this friendly meeting with some nice coffee and pastries. Our guest - Ms.Emy will share to us more on her journey, her projects, and what motivates her in her career as a lecturer and teacher. She will also introduce you to some features of her students that she likes to draw in her notebooks.

All former students of the UCO are invited, and we particularly count on the presence of former UCO or IND-E students, teachers or educators!
