Conference: French armies face the challenges of today's world

The Université catholique de l'Ouest alumni network is pleased to invite you to a lecture by General de brigade Thierry Tricand de la Goutte, commander of the École du génie and departmental military delegate for Maine-et-Loire, on the theme of "French armies facing the challenges of today's world".

Thierry Tricand de la Goutte
Brigadier General
Armée de Terre

Brigadier General Thierry Tricand de la Goutte, Saint-Cyrien (class of 1992-1995), currently commands the École du génie in Angers. A parachute engineer officer, he served with the 17th RGP, which he commanded, and has been involved in a number of overseas operations. Promoted to General in 2022, he is an Officer of the Legion of Honor and has been awarded the Military Valor Cross.
