How to get involved in the UCO Alumni Network?
Discover different ways to play a part in the large-scale connection of UCO’s graduates.
Are you a former student of the “Université catholique de l’Ouest” (UCO) who wants to strengthen your link with the school? Are you seeking an opportunity to reconnect with your university colleagues? Are you ready to further develop your personal connections and resources?
If your answers to these questions is “YES”, then you are in the right place! Here are several “tips” that we propose to help you reach your goals - how to get involved in the life of the UCO Alumni Network.
ORGANIZE AN UCO ALUMNI EVENT
Within your region, you can certainly propose different events for UCO Alumni (lunches; trips, conferences, afterwork meetings,etc.).
SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCES BY BECOMING A PARTICIPANT
Just because you already graduated from UCO, doesn’t mean that you can’t take part in the university’s activities! There are various ways of how you can be actively involved; for example, you can become a member of the jury, or participate as a coach for extracurricular events! You can also become the leader in conferences, or an honorable guest speaker in courses for UCO’s students; and you are welcome to share your professional experiences during those.
PROPOSE OFFERS TO STUDENTS AND GRADUATES
Are you looking for talented individuals to become a part of your businesses? If you are, we always welcome propositions of internships, work-study programs or job offers from you to students and graduates of UCO. This can provide great opportunities for them to kick-start their careers, also for you when searching for potential hires. Through this format, our connection with the university is strengthened, as it is valuable for both employers and expected employees, with the school as the central.
