Today, with great joy and honor, I adress you now not only as your rector  of the Université Catholique de l’Ouest (UCO), but also as an UCO Alumni myself.

Since 1875, UCO has aimed to educate individuals to become free and responsible, competent, and innovative professionals serving the world. Our values of humanity, proximity, dialogue and freedom have always been at the heart of our educational mission, and they continue to guide us on our path of growing.

The enlargement of the UCO Alumni Network is strongly in accordance with our goal of developing the university, as well as our desire to support the professional integration of former students.

Therefore, the interconnected web of the UCO Alumni plays its role as a key element in the life of the university, making it possible to maintain strong connections between graduates and their “Alma mater”.

I believe that this enhanced collaboration between the university and our Alumni will contribute largely to the mutual enrichment of each individual. I am delighted to be able to rely on you wholeheartedly to proudly represent UCO, and I look forward to seeing you at future UCO Alumni events.
