Webinar: Learning in the 21st century: neuroscience and digital technology

Join us for a fun and interactive one-hour workshop to explore the four key factors that promote successful learning.

Based on the work of Stanislas Dehaene, Professor at the Collège de France, cognitive psychologist and neuroscientist, this workshop will highlight the "four pillars of learning": attention, active engagement, error feedback and consolidation.

Free and open to all Université catholique de l'Ouest graduates, this workshop will be led by Gilles Reilhac. After a 45-minute presentation, there will be 15 minutes for questions and answers.

Speakers
Gilles Reilhac
Director, UCO La Réunion

As a lecturer and researcher in cognitive and experimental psychology, and Director of UCO La Réunion, my research work lies at the crossroads of Cognitive Psychology and Educational Sciences, both of which are now part of the wider field of Neuroscience. The aim of my research is twofold: on the one hand, to better understand how individuals (children and adults) acquire, store and use their knowledge, and on the other, to ensure that assessment is taken into account as a means of consolidating knowledge in the process of acquisition.

I also defend the idea that cognition must be embodied: "the body as a vector of learning".
